Helen Freeman is an amazing emerging gospel artist from Charleston, S.C. She is the youngest of four children to Rosalee Freeman and the late Randolph Freeman Sr. She is the mother of two amazing men, Quentin Ravenel and Stephen Freeman. Both of her children are professional musicians that travel internationally. Her oldest son, Quentin, has his own group, The Quentin Ravenel experience. Furthermore, he was named 2015 and 2016 Drummer of the Year in the City Press. Moreover, her youngest son Stephen Freeman plays keyboard for Pop-star Jessie J and nine time Grammy award winner Mary J. Bilge. Helen loves her family.
She has many accomplishments to her credit. Helen performed on the 2019 Stellar Awards independent Showcase, The Babbie Mason Show, Atlanta Live WATC TV, and was also named Christian Artist of the month of October 2018, on The living in harmony show, just to name a few. More recently, Helen won the Prayzefactor Awards season 14 with her song, "It's My Time". She also was interviewed on the award winning "Quintin Close-Up Show" and was featured in the Charleston, SC city newspaper. Helen travels to many cities singing and proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Helen is the recipient of many awards. She has received the Veteran Affair. Awards, Merit Awards at Trident Tech, and was awarded for her performance in the play “Mahalia” just to name a few. She has also been honored, along with others, for feeding the homeless shelters and had been acknowledged in the Mt. Pleasant Newspaper for her stunning performance of “Bev song”.
Today, Helen encourages people to be like an eagle and spread their wings and not just fly, but soar, no matter the age. She encourages many to follow their dreams, no matter how great ; because the sky is the limit. Most importantly, she continuously reminds others to walk-in love and show love because you never know who is watching.
